Mendocino Retail Space

This is a small retail space referred to as the Shoe Building because it serves as a shoe repair business.  Not much is visible from the outside but this was the base of an historic tower that once stood here.  The interior of the building still has the original bracing and beams.  We installed new footings, ramps, windows and fixed the walls and roof to bring this up to code.  This was built as part of the Mendocino Center Associates property in the heart of Mendocino.   This was built along with the adjacent mixed used building, DuplexRego House, and Warren/Haggenmyer buildings in 2005.

The tall tower on the left is what this small building used to be. 
The remaining portion of this tower is now the shoe building. 
This photo was taken right after a fire in the town of Mendocino,

This photo is another view of the same tower.  Only the lowest
level of the tower remains with a new gable roof.
