This house is an open frame heavy timber structure. It demonstrates the dramatic visual effect and versitility one can achieve with open space design. The entire 2nd floor and roof structure cantilever from the central concrete fireplace. The entire structural system is exposed and becomes the architecture. No connection hardware is visible for the entire house. It has 9' overhangs, a copper roof and is perched at the edge of the Pacific Ocean.   There are 2 of these house right next to each other.  One is 40' x 60' and the other is 40' x 50' long.  Built in the early 80's.
