This is the master plan for a multi phase project. The county has
an existing Library in the lower left hand corner and an existing
museum next to it.
the initial phase was to build a Maintenance
Building in the field to the right (east). Around this field
is a football/soccer filed and 2 little league fields along with
support facilities. There is also a parking lot to the
south. Eventually there will be a look track built around the
park so that people can take a ride on the steam driven trains.
There is also a loop to connect the tracts into the commercial rail
lines.
The next phase is to add the Railroad
Museum, Museum Offices and Learning
Center to the existing museum. After that an addition is to
be done to create an Artifacts
Storage Facility for the museum. Also planned but not built
yet are district offices for the local school district.
