10 Elementary Schools in North San Diego County

This was a project we did the engineering for in the mid 70's.  There was a lot of expansion in the north end of San Diego and they needed a lot of schools quickly.  They hired us to develop 3 different types of buildings that could be built quickly and applied to different schools.  We developed a classroom wing, multipurpose building and administrative offices.  The prototype buildings were then used in 10 different campuses.  Starting construction in June, all 10 campuses were done by December with considerable savings in time and money to the school district.  The roofs are precast concrete "Tees" and Spancrete precast slabs.  The walls are all tilt-up concrete walls.

Unfortunately I don't have photos of many of the buildings but each one was decorated differently.
