This is a painting someone did of a project I was involved in.  I did the remodel for this building in the early 70's.  The Big Weenie had the best hot dogs anywhere in the LA area according to the LA Times and various TV reports (and yours truly).  It lasted 8 years before the idiot owner of the property decided he wanted to lease the building for another use.  It was a popular spot to hang out and people watch.  It was located behind Matsons department store at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Wilcox.
